TRAVEL

Aberystwyth is reachable in 3 hours by train from Birmingham International.

ACCOMMODATION

The seafront is the nicest place to stay but it does involve either walking up the hill to the campus, or you could take a taxi or bus.

Reasonably priced on-campus accommodation is available. (Note that results are listed with highest price options first, so scroll down for cheaper options. Also note that this fills up fast).

FOOD

There is a cafe in the Gwendolen Rees Building, which is where we will be meeting.

Food is also available in other locations on campus such as the Food Hall and the Arts Centre.

EXTENDING YOUR STAY

If you wish to visit Mid-Wales then there is plenty to see: The Vale of Rheidol Railway travels through beautiful scenery to Devil’s Bridge, The National Library of Wales is well worth seeing, and the views from the top of Constitution Hill (reachable by the longest electric funicular Cliff Railway in Britain) are spectacular.
